Jungfraujoch Top of Europe - Breathless in the Bernese Oberland
Your pulse quickens and your hands start to sweat. The excitement grows more and more. You close your eyes, you lose your footing, but you don't fall - you fly. It is this incredible moment, the one instant that overwhelms you with emotions and floods you - the adrenaline rushes through your body. What follows is pure happiness. You sit in the helicopter and experience the Bernese mountain panorama with its numerous peaks, the jagged rock faces and the deep valleys. The Lauterbrunnen and Gsteigwiler heliport near Interlaken offer exactly the right starting point for varied flight and nature action.
Hiking on the Top of Europe
The Swiss Alpine region of the Bernese Oberland is a true paradise for outdoor fans, adrenaline junkies, nature lovers and endurance athletes. Whether slow and intense or fast with lots of power - the towering peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau offer the perfect environment for challenging activities and intense experiences.
Take an express flight up to the Top of Europe - the Jungfraujoch - or back down from there. At a height of almost 3500 meters, the panoramic view of the surrounding peaks is simply magnificent. If you like, you can experience a 2-day hike across the Aletsch Glacier from here, including a view of the Arctic Ocean and an overnight stay in a rustic hut. For this outdoor trip, you should be physically fit and, above all, not afraid of heights. If you want to take it a little more leisurely, you can look forward to the 360-degree film with a Jungfrau panorama in the mountain station and embark on an action-packed journey through the alpine mountains as a spectator. Incidentally, Europe's highest train station is located here at 3454 meters. If you arrive by helicopter, you can also take the train back down to the valley. This is another way to show Switzerland's colossal side.
First-class espionage action in the Swiss Alps
If you still feel like action after a dip in the cold water but also want to relax a little, we recommend a cinematic helicopter flight. Wild chases through the air with crazy flying stunts and explosive effects are not part of this offer, but you can follow in the footsteps of James Bond. The movie “On His Majesty's Secret Service” is one of the absolute classics of spy films, in which James Bond also makes a big impression against the Swiss mountain backdrop and uses his license to kill. The helicopter takes you to the original location of Schilthorn - Piz Gloria, including a hot and cold glacier landing. A 007 hotel room for one night, the appropriate martini drink (shaken, not stirred, of course) and a rich breakfast buffet round off the perfect spy short break.
